About MPH to MPG
Modern Property Holdings (PTY) LTD was established in 1987. The first units to be constructed were 4 warehouses that consisted offices in Gaborone West Industrial. The warehouses ranged in size from 450sqm to 585sqm plus offices. They are all powered with 3 phase electricity, have showering and ablutions and well-maintained firefighting equipment.

In 2010, MPG founder and owner, began construction of a second block of 4 x warehouses in Tlokweng Industrial. The construction completion was delayed due to the sudden death of the Founder. They were completed in 2016 by his wife who had assumed the role of Director at the time.

The first residential home that the Founder owned was built in 1973 in extension 2 Gaborone. In 1979? The second residential house was built followed by a third in 1990 in Mogoditshane.
The legacy of the Founder Mr SN Sebonego continues through his wife and daughters who are on a mission to grow the portfolio of the business. They are rebranding and changing the name of the business from Modern Property Holdings to Modern Property Group to reflect the growth and diversity of the portfolio.

Developments will be done on three plots and construction of single-family homes, town houses for short- and long-term lease with some of the single-family homes sold as sub sectional titles. A lodge, conferencing facilities, restaurant and a mini supermarket or convenience store will be part of the developments.

At the industrial plot in Gaborone West, one of the warehouses will be converted into smaller warehouse units and meeting room facilities to meet the ever-growing demand for small warehouses.
